Shinigami
Second Lesson
It's time for kidou practice! This is a test of how well your character can hold their own against ranged targets. Show your aspiring shinigami performing the Hado #31, Shakkaho, Shot of Red Fire. Their targets should be at varying distances with a variety of sizes and shapes. The idea here is to determine how well your OC deals with kidou. Show how much it tires them, how accurate they are with it, how much energy they are able to put into it, and so on.


Hollows
Second Phase
Your hollow now has a taste for human souls. Depict your hollow terrorizing the town. Or devouring its inhabitants, whichever. Have a little fun with this one. Try to go a little more in depth with the whole process of its feeding habits. Is there a particular flavor of soul that they like? Or perhaps one that they don't like? Let your hollow discover what its newfound body is capable of. Remember that it isn't an Espada, so no "destroying the whole world with a sneeze" kind of things. Otherwise, go nuts.


Humans and Quincys
Second Stage
Noone walks before they can crawl. Have your character train a little. It could be in a private secluded area, or against weakling hollows. For Quincys, show your OC developing a favored style with their bow or perhaps finding a unique way to use it. Spiritually adept humans can start forming their own opinions on how they would like to use their powers. Is it something they will use to defend their loved ones? Maybe they will use it for personal gain. Either way, this is the time to start setting up what kind of person your character will be once they fully awaken their abilities.
